Dedicated in 2012 and located on the front grounds of the Bethea Welcome Center, the Biblical Garden was created as a place of beauty and peace. It incorporates plants mentioned in the Bible, including herbs, figs, pomegranates, and vines. It also features plants representative of those in the Bible that are more suited to our climate and terrain. A cascading water feature represents justice and righteousness and a Zimbabwe Shona sculpture adds global character to the garden. The Tuscola Garden Club continues to provide annual financial gifts and to assist the horticulture staff to develop, plant and maintain the Garden.
The Tuscola Garden Club cleans and prepares 13 bluebird houses for nesting in March, May and July of each year. The houses are located at various locations around Lake Junaluska.
